It was a very nice way to start a Sunday

Early this morning new photos of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords were released on her Facebook page.

Giffords' recovery has been remarkable these photos were taken in May and released this morning

Giffords of course, was one of the victims of that cowardly Tuscon shooting that took place earlier this year, that claimed the life of several others including a judge, a young child, and a member of her staff. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head during the attack and has been recovering in a rehabilitation center in Houston.

It warms the heart to see recovery like this. John Boehner said it well when he said “An attack on one who serves, is an attack on all that who serves.”. The country has rallied around her and let’s hope that her remarkable healing continues.
