Two more moves in the chess match between Rep. Connie Mack IV and former Senator George Lemieux took place yesterday in the GOP primary in for the Florida Senate race.
Mack IV, as anticipated received the endorsement of former Attorney General and conservative favorite Bill McCullom in Orlando yesterday. Staying on message, Mack criticized current Senator Bill Nelson and President Barack Obama’s policies.
McCullom continues to be an active supporter on the campaign trail this year. Earlier he endorsed Presidential candidate and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Mack IV was campaigning with the eventual GOP nominee Mitt Romney.
The Lemieux campaign countered with this internet webvideo lifestyles which brings into question how much time Connie Mack is actually spending in the state. Have a look.

You know Connie Mack doesn’t spend a lot of time in Florida, I know he doesn’t, everybody knows. The question is… Do GOP voters care?
Mack currently leads Lemieux in the polls, both trail Bill Nelson by a significant amount, this is going to be a straight up R’s and D’s fight that will lean heavily on the outcome of the Presidential race.
It doesn’t matter if he’s a quarter, half or full Mack or how close Lemieux was with Charlie Crist, the GOP will unite behind the eventual nominee.
