Friday Morning Political Headlines: Domestic Partnership in Volusia and Tax Payer Funded Mail

TGIF Friends.

It looks like the rainy days might take a break for the weekend and there is plenty going on.

Today we’ve got the state’s first county level domestic partnership in Volusia. This puts careful negotiations between Activists and Government here in Orange county under the spotlight heading into next week.

We’ve also got the hot topic of “Franking” or Tax Payer funded mail that touts a lawmaker’s achievements and comes in especially handy during election time. This has been mentioned in the Lemieux/Mack IV races and right here in Orlando with the John Mica/Sandy Adams race.

Those stories lead off your Friday morning political headlines.
