Saturday Morning Political Headlines: TS Issac causes Biden travel audible

The RNC isn’t the only political event Issac is affecting.

The strengthening storm that is expected to brush the western part of the state has also forced Vice President Joe Biden to change up his travel plans. Biden has cancelled the Tampa leg of his Florida trip and will instead visit St. Augustine and Democrats right here in Orlando.

Biden was expected to provide some potent counter programming to the media juggernaut that has take over far region of the I4 corridor but risking safety for a power stunt isn’t worth the trouble and the VP believes his presence can be felt in Tampa from here in Orlando.

Recent polling have President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney neck and neck in the Sunshine State.

Stay safe and stay dry, Issac will make his presence felt in Central Florida soon.
