Sunday Morning Political Headlines: DNC Kicks Off Tomorrow

Last week Republicans converged on Tampa to name Mitt Romney as their parties nominee and unite under the Romney/Ryan ticket.

Despite a tropical storm, and Clint Eastwood, it happened. There were thought provoking and inspirational speakers, and the convention itself was a ratings success. The GOP moves forward united, and with a November victory on their minds.

Now, it’s the Democrats turn, and they’ll be holding a their convention in Charlotte, North Carolina this week where they’ll nominate President Barack Obama for re-election. There is a preview of that below.
