Tuesday Morning Political Headlines: First Lady at DNC Tonight

Happy Tuesday, I hope your Labor Day was a relaxing and enjoyable.

Now, back to work.

While you were grilling your burgers and dogs yesterday, the Democrats set up shot in Charlotte, North Carolina where they kicked off the Democratic National Convention. Yesterday, was mostly politicos speaking with the media, street parties, and fundraisers. Today is when the festivities really get going. First Lady Michelle Obama will be speaking and with approval numbers much higher than her husband, will be a welcomed sight for weary Obama supporters and Independents.

Giving the Key-Note Speech at the DNC will be San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro. The Obama campaign hopes Castro will be what the President himself was back in 2004.
