When I spoke to Florida House 31 Candidate Randy Glisson last weekend, he told me he was going to have his best fundraising quarter yet. And today, he was true to his word.
The Health Care Exec scored 27K and will likely remain the money leader in the crowded contest to replace termed out incumbent Bryan Nelson in the Orange/Lake County Seat.
Glisson has been transparent with his fundraising approach. Make each quarter better than the one before and add a consistent self loan of 5k each period.
He’s also been able to tap his connections in the health care field, to draw a large share of his donations. Many of his colleagues have contributed and in amounts above the small donation classification of $100.
Glisson has said he will comment on Social Media, regarding the support his campaign has received over the last couple of months. When he does, I’ll post it here.
He’s in a 6 way primary with Businesswoman Terri Seefeldt, Youth Development Leader Jennifer Sullivan (she just entered this quarter), and 3 others who haven’t made an impact yet. When they announce, you’ll find their numbers here.
