This morning, Youth Development Leader Jennifer Sullivan, announced that she has been endorsed by Orange County District 2 Commissioner Fred Brummer, in the Florida House 31 race.
A former State Representative himself, Brummer has a reputation for being the most Conservative voice on the County Commission, and the Apopka portion of his district overlaps with House 31.
He had this to say about Sullivan’s in his endorsement..
“I fully support Jennifer Sullivan to be our next State Representative. District 31 needs a fresh, conservative voice to stand up for our values in Tallahassee. Ms. Sullivan has the character and vision to lead. I am confident Ms. Sullivan will put her constituents first and serve her district well.”
Sullivan added these remarks about Brummer’s support..
“I am honored to have Commissioner Brummer’s support and confidence in this campaign. It means so much to me to have the support of someone who has served us so well. I know that this trust placed in me cannot be taken lightly. I promise to be your voice in Tallahassee and to stand for genuine conservative principles.”
The GOP primary in House 31, is amongst the most competitive in Florida. Other major candidates include Health Clinic Executive, Dr. Randy Glisson and Businesswoman Terri Seefeldt, all who are running to replace termed out incumbent Bryan Nelson, who’s actually running for Brummer’s seat on the Commission, who has also reached term limits.
The winner of the primary will be strongly favored to win the general election, in the Conservative seat which includes parts of Orange and Lake Counties.
