This afternoon, Youth Development Leader Jennifer Sullivan announced that she has been endorsed by Businesswoman Betty Hensinger in Florida House 31.
Hensinger, was a candidates in House 31 herself, before losing a family memberr earlier this year. She formally withdrew from the race shortly after. In the announcement, Hensinger, who is also President of the Golden Triangle Republican Women’s Club of Lake County had this to say about endorsing Sullivan.
“District 31 deserves a strong conservative voice to stand up to the special interests and stand for our shared conservative values in Tallahassee. Jennifer Sullivan has clearly demonstrated that she has the character, vision and drive to effectively represent us in the Florida House. I am proud to support Jennifer and look forward to casting my ballot for her as our next state representative.”
After receiving Hensinger’s support, Sullivan added these remarks..
It truly is an honor to have Betty Hensinger’s endorsement. To have the support of such a strong leader in our community is very exciting and comes at a critical time in our campaign, as absentee ballots went out to overseas and military voters in the last few days. I know that her trust placed in me is not to be taken lightly. I promise to be your voice in Tallahassee and to stand for our genuine conservative principles.
