Sumter County Animal Services Are Under Investigation For Mistreatment Of Animals
Animal advocates and former employees allege animal cruelty, neglect, falsification of records, unnecessarily killing dogs, and not providing proper veterinary care to animals that are suffering are just a few of the atrocities taking place at county run animal service department. Photos & documents have been obtained and sent to Gov. Rick Scott, Pam Bondi, & County Commissioners. Among the documents is a message from
County Administrator Bradly Arnold saying that they use euthanasia to cull the population on animals. It is up to their discretion what animals may live, and who must die. Volunteers are regularly offering their help, and are turned away.
