Rob Panepinto, a community leader and businessman, has raised nearly $290,000 in just two months as a candidate for Orange County mayor.
At present, Panepinto has raised $204,530 in his campaign account and Vision Orange County, a political committee, has raised $84,530 for his run for mayor.
In the month of November alone, Vision Orange County raised an additional $16,000 and Rob Panepinto contributed $34,100, for a grand total of $50,100.
“I was pleased and humbled by the outpouring of support. There is an appetite for a clear, optimistic vision for making Orange County the place where everyone can achieve their dreams,” Panepinto explained to us.
Panepinto is a nonprofit and business consultant from Winter Park. He is president of the Winter Park consulting firm Florentine Strategies and CEO of Entrepreneurs in Action. He also sits on quite a few civic and nonprofit boards.
Rob Panepinto released a statement regarding his fundraising in a press release saying, “I am thankful for the growing support from so many people in our community. I am humbled that there are so many who share my vision for moving the county forward by creating more economic expansion and opportunity, creating more affordable housing solutions, working with law enforcement to combat crime and creating stronger ties throughout the community for everyone.”
The publisher of the Orlando Political Observer and Gravis Marketing, Doug Kaplan, is Rob Panepinto’s brother.
