This holiday season, animal shelters in Osceola, Orange and Seminole counties are teaming up for the 4th annual “Home for the Holidays” adoption promotion. The goal is to boost pet adoptions, uniting homeless animals with loving homes in time for the holiday season. The four shelters combined have set a goal of 1,000 pet adoptions for the month of December.
Animal Services in Osceola, Orange and Seminole counties will reduce pet adoption fees to $12 or less for the entire month of December for the promotion. The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, with a location in Orlando and a second in Sanford, will reduce adoption fees to just $12 for the 12 days leading up to Christmas.
“Our shelter pets, each and every one of them, are looking for new families and it is our hope that this promotion will result in a record breaking adoption month and unprecedented success for our community’s homeless animals this holiday season,” said Dil Luther, manager of Orange County Animal Services.
