Guidewell Financial Solutions, a fully-accredited, HUD certified nonprofit housing and credit counseling provider headquartered in Maryland, will open a new branch in the Orlando Metro area this month – the agency’s fifth location nationally after launching offices in Maryland, Delaware and California. The office is located at 618 E. South Street, Suite 500, Orlando, Florida 32801.

Led by Guidewell Financial Solutions’ Community Development Officer, Juan Omar Matos, the new office will offer educational workshops on financial literacy, in addition to credit and homeownership counseling for residents located throughout Central Florida.

“Coming off the heels of our recent expansion to the west coast last year, forward momentum has led us to additional growth with the opening of a new office in Florida,” said Guidewell Financial Solutions CEO, Helene Raynaud. “This new, fully bilingual location allows us to offer financial counseling services and group workshops to residents in Florida, and further increase financial literacy for communities there.”

Matos will bring more than a decade of financial education experience to his new role in managing Guidewell Financial Solutions’ new Orlando location, where he will work to provide clients with the means to make informed decisions about their finances and housing. Matos joined Guidewell Financial as a community development officer following a long career as a financial educator at Clearpoint Financial, another national nonprofit credit counseling organization.

Guidewell Financial Solutions’ new Orlando office will host its first HUD-approved Homeownership Education Workshop on February 23 which is now open for registrations.
