Last week Shane Lillibridge officially kicked off his campaign for Sanford City Commissioner for District #2.
Surrounded by his family and friends he laid out the reasons why he was running for the seat that will be vacated by retiring city commissioner Velma Williams.
He started it off by saying “I am not a politician, I don’t even have a twitter account” and then a flashed a large grin. He also said ” he wants to be the commissioner for district two, he is truly invested in this endeavor. He is laser focused on making a difference.”
Shane finished off his speech with a promise, “he said he has never failed once he has set his mind to a task. He said loves his community and wants to see it renewed and energized. He wants to see the community come together and focus on the future. He then said if his opponents want to beat him, they will have to be just as committed and plan on outworking him”. He then flashed his grin again and thanked everyone for coming to the kick-off
