Nancy Robbinson, who has represented District 6 on the Orange County School Board since 2008 and is currently running for Chairman, received an endorsement by the Orange County Classroom Teachers Association today.
In a press release, OCCTA President Wendy Doromal stated, “The Orange County Classroom Teachers Association is the most influential education union in Central Florida, being the political voice for over 14,000 instructional personnel in the ninth largest school district in the country. I am proud to endorse longtime education leader Nancy Robbinson for School Board Chair. She is prepared to successfully lead OCPS for our students, families, teachers and staff.”
Robbinson previously served as the School Board Vice Chairman from 2015-2016. She is also a current board member of the Florida School Boards Association, and a member of the Central Florida Public School Boards Coalition.
