Mike Miller Goes to Washington Advocating for Balanced Budget Amendment

Mike Miller is in our nation’s capital advocating for the balanced budget
amendment before Congress today. The measure is a constitutional amendment that would bar Congress from spending more than it takes in each year.

“I view this Balanced Budget Amendment no different than my own household budget – we simply cannot spend more than we take in,” said Miller. “This is one of many conservative principles I will fight for in Washington.

We cannot allow the Nancy Pelosi Democrats to continue spending at levels that will weaken our country and bring havoc to our economy,” continued Miller.

Running for public office for the first time in 2014 in a district that was evenly divided Republican and Democrat, Mike was elected to the Florida House of Representatives by defeating the incumbent Democrat. In 2016, Mike handily defeated his Democratic opponent in a district where Hillary Clinton won by 12%.

The primary will be held in August 2018 with the Republican nominee
facing Cong. Stephanie Murphy in the general election in November 2018.
