March for Science 2018 Announces Speakers

The March for Science movement isn’t about march day or election day – this movement, powered by community organizers and individual advocates, is a force for science advocacy, and it’s coming back to Central Florida this Saturday.

Orlando’s 2018 March For Science will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Northeast Corner of Lake Eola Park (corner of E. Robinson Street and N. Eola Drive).

There will be speakers from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and then advocates will march around Lake Eola and back. March organizers focused on building a speaker series that not only reflected the diversity of Central Florida, but one that also spoke to the intersectionality of science policy and the role that science plays in our daily lives.
