The recent CBO report said that there would be 22 million more people left uninsured by 2026 under the legislation than under current law. President Donald Trump called the house bill which he once praised as “incredibly well crafted” mean. He has encouraged the Senate to spend more on the bill to make it “generous, kind, and with heart.” According to Senate rules, the bill must save the same amount as the House bill which is $133million.
