Winter Garden Commissioner Robert “Bobby O” Olszewski announced on Wednesday morning, that he has officially qualified for the Orange County Commission District 1 seat.
Orange County Supervisor of Elections Bill Cowles stated that Olszewski submitted 1,661 total petitions of which 1,515 were certified to earn a position on the ballot for Orange County Commission District 1.
“This is such a momentous milestone for our campaign to be the first to qualify by petition in the Orange County District 1 Commission race because of the multitude of volunteers promoting our message of Residents and Community First.” said Olszewski “We handed in our petitions before Super Tuesday which is a testament to our outstanding grassroots community support and ground-game considering we entered this race nine months after our opponent,”
“Bobby O” as he’s called by many of his constituents is running for the West Orange County seat currently held by termed out Commissioner Scott Boyd. Project Development Manager Betsy VanderLey and Attorney Nurren Haider are also running.
