Winter Garden Commissioner Bobby Olszewski has raised about $21,000 in his first full month of fundraising for his State House District 44 campaign. The haul comes with an upcoming special election coming for the seat after Governor Rick Scott appointed incumbent Eric Eisnaugle to the bench in the Fifth Court of Appeals.
“After announcing our candidacy for Florida State House with over 30 endorsements, we are absolutely thrilled that in just three weeks, we were able to raise over $21,000 for our race during the busiest time of session in addition to not having a special election date.” said Olszewski.
It’s a solid starting haul for Olszewski with all of the contributions coming during the legislative session and before Eisnaugle was appointed. “Bobby O” is the first candidate to voice his intentions to run in the upcoming legislative session which could occur in the late summer or the fall.
“We really see the enthusiasm and momentum building every day.” added Olszweski
