Environmental Consultant Mo Pearson rolled out support for his Florida House 47 bid, with endorsements from 3 Orange County Commissioners.
Scott Boyd, Fred Brummer, and Jennifer Thompson have all formally endorsed the Republican Florida House Hopeful.
In a statement sent out by Pearson, Boyd said “As a lifelong resident of Orange County I believe Mo will represent the best interest of our community,” and Thompson added “Mo is devoted to ensuring job growth and enhancing our children’s education here in Central Florida. Mo truly cares about the future of our community.”
Pearson’s campaign has been progressing well. He’s currently the money leader with about 52K on hand and has been busy canvassing. He’s currently in a 3 way GOP primary with Law Clerk/Student Erik Arroyo and Frank Caprio, who entered the contest last week.
The winner of that primary will face incumbent Democrat Linda Stewart, who herself served on the Orange County Commission for 8 years. Stewart has also championed Environmental issues in the past and with conservation getting much attention in Tallahassee these days, it should set up a spirited debate between the two if Pearson emerges from the primary.
