Yesterday, the Orlando City Council passed a measure that would preserve Tinker Field but would demolish the grand stands. The site will be designated as a historical with markers to commemorate, the historical figures that visited the site. Unlike it’s first vote, which consisted of hours of public comment, only 10 speakers were present this time. The vote passed 5 to 1 with only City Commissioner Sam Ings, in opposition.
