On Tuesday, JPMorgan Chase is expected to announce a $400,000 contribution to LIFT Orlando. LIFT Orlando consists of “business leaders partnering with residents to break the cycle of poverty through neighborhood revitalization.”
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and JPMorgan Chase Southeast Chair, and former Senator Mel Martinez will be holding a community conversation with small business owners in the West Lake Community to learn more about the challenges their facing in the region. They will also have a chance to learn about a partnership between LIFT and small business lender ACCION.
The LIFT board consists of business leaders from major corporations in the area. One of the more noticeable initiatives of the partnership include the redevelopment of housing near Camping World Stadium.
