Former Winter Garden Commissioner Robert “Bobby O” Olszewksi has qualified for the House District 44 Special Election by petition.
Olszewski received his candidate qualifying certification from the Orange County Supervisor of elections after gathering the required number of petitions.
“We collected over 400 petitions throughout the community in a matter of a few days and I couldn’t be more thankful to our great volunteers who helped us reach this goal with our voters in record time,” said Olszewski “My volunteers and I will out and about in our community throughout this election looking to bring our hometown, conservative principles to Tallahassee.”
Olszewski is running to replace former State Representative Eric Eisnaugle in the West Orange County District after Eisnaugle was appointed to the bench in the Fifth District Court of Appeals by Governor Rick Scott. Osceola County Chamber President John Newstreet and Businessman Bruno Portigliatti are also running.
