Buddy Dyer goes on Media Tour to promote Orlando’s Fourth of July Celebration

There is a good chance you’ve seen Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer on television or heard his voice on the radio this week, as the Mayor has been barnstorming local media outlets to promote the city’s Fourth of July Celebration next week.

Dyer has documented his stops at local radio stations and television studios on social media and even produced a special segment with the on air team for one of the new teams here in town.

“Wow, I’m riding with the best news team in Florida.” Dyer says in the passenger seat of a ride along in the commercial.

Orlando will be throwing it’s annual 40th Fireworks at the Fountain celebration at Lake Eola this year, where thousands of residents will converge downtown for an evening of food, live music, and fireworks over the famous Lake Eola fountain.

Fourth of July celebrations are also economic stimulators for the local economy as thousands of residents will eat at local restaurants and purchase goods from local vendors who table at the events.

In neighboring Seminole County, Red, Hot and Boom, which is held at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, is the most well attended event of the year in Seminole and floods the Altamonte Mall and surrounding shopping centers with customers, will get a live music and fireworks experience of their own. That event takes place the evening of July 3rd this year.
