More than 20 members of the Central Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 4 are heading to Texas to assist with search and rescue efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The team is comprised of members from the fire rescue departments of Orlando and Orange and Seminole Counties. According to the Orlando Sentinel, they previously assisted with rescue efforts like Hurricane Ivan in the Florida Panhandle in 2004, and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005.

Orlando Fire Department Lt. Craig Hulette told the Sentinel that the team brought with them four boats that could handle shallow water, two flatbeds and two inflatable boats.

The team will arrive in Austin tonight and deploy to the Houston area on Tuesday.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott previously announced that he was deploying Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, along with boats, vehicles, and other equipment, to Houston. Numerous other Central Florida organizations, like the American Red Cross of Central Florida and the Salvation Army, are sending volunteers and supplies as well.
