Former Senator Mel Martinez Endorses Rob Panepinto


Rob Panepinto candidate for Orange County Mayor received the endorsement of former Senator Mel Martinez. Mel Martinez who served as a United States Senator from Florida from 2005 to 2009 and as general chairman of the Republican Party from November 2006 until October 19, 2007. Previously, Martínez served as the 12th Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President George W. Bush.

Panepinto said in a statement that he was  proud and honored  to have Senator Mel Martinez’s support!

Martinez said the following about Panepinto “The hardworking people of Orange County deserve a mayor who will focus on preparing our communities for the next 25 years,” said Martinez. “I am proud to endorse Rob Panepinto for Orange County Mayor because he has a plan to address the major issues facing families, businesses and our neighborhoods.

The publisher of the Orlando Political Observer and President of Gravis Marketing, Doug Kaplan, is Rob Panepinto’s brother.
