Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of David A. Cromartie and Arthur Christian “Chris” Miller to the Volusia County Court.
Cromartie, 47, of Ormond Beach, is a Managing Assistant State Attorney in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. He previously worked in private practice with Cromartie & Cromartie, P.A. He received his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Florida. Cromartie fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Shirley A. Green.
Miller, 38, of Daytona Beach, is an Assistant State Attorney in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. Miller fills the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Steven Henderson to the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court.
