The Florida Department of Health in Osceola County Warns Residents About Scam Calls

Kissimmee, Fla — The Florida Department of Health in Osceola County (FDOH-Osceola) is
warning residents about scam calls related to COVID-19 test results. During these calls, the caller
ID may show up as the health department’s phone number with the caller requesting a social
security number. FDOH-Osceola will call to notify of negative and positive results or of a possible
exposure to COVID-19. FDOH-Osceola will never ask for your social security number or personal
financial information.

If you are unsure whether the call is from the health department, hang up and dial the health
department’s main number directly at (407) 343-2000. The Florida Department of Health in Osceola
County is committed to protecting your personal health information.
