We simply need to strategize and organize better. The idea that we elect posers to this role versus those with measurable results is unacceptable,” said Ross.
As the former Orange County for Trump 2016 Chairman and fundraiser for a variety of Conservatives “I have the receipts. I have raised over a million dollars in the past decade alone for everything from local to national elected positions,” said Ross. Ross is also a current member of the 2024 Trump 47 fundraising team. “We have got to give Orange County Republicans hope. I have raised more money for Republicans than all the candidates for State Committeeman and Committeewoman combined,” Ross explained. Candidate and local party fundraising, of course, are a key qualification to the role Ross is seeking.
“I know exactly what we are missing and what we need in Orange County. The lack of Republicans targeted in Orange County elections illustrates the need for stronger leadership and a new approach. We have no Orange County Republicans running for nearly all our Orange County Constitutional Offices…. that is a problem,” said Ross. Ross added that recruiting candidates to run for office would be a priority at the next Orange County Republican State Committeeman.
“Time to roll up our sleeves and change the voter registration numbers of Orange County and ensure no local political race ever doesn’t include a Republican candidate running,” said Ross. “We sent a Democrat to Florida Senate today with no opposition. What an embarrassment,” concluded Ross.
Consider this my challenge to debate any that qualify to run for Orange County Republican State Committeeman because “I am pretty sure, in a fair debate, none of them will shine like a man that for nearly a decade has taken punches for the party and for Trump,” Ross.
Ross lives in Downtown Orlando and is a graduate of Ball State University with certifications in General Services Administration Contract Pricing and Negotiation from George Washington University. Ross came to Orlando to produce his kid’s fitness program, Cardio Express, in 1993 receiving two Walt Disney World Community Service Awards in Health and Human Services targeting Title 1 schools. Ross, a political consultant, currently sits on the Orange County Membership Mission and Review Board (MMRB) elevating volunteers to a variety of boards throughout the county.
