Shan Rose Officially Qualifies for Re-Election Bid in Orlando’s District 5

Orlando, FL — Commissioner Shan Rose has officially qualified to run for re-election in Orlando’s District 5, announcing her campaign with a call for unity, accountability, and continued progress.

“This isn’t about one person. It’s about all of us,” Rose said in her campaign announcement. “District 5 deserves safer streets, affordable homes, better sidewalks, stronger educational support, and services that actually work.”

Rose, who has served District 5 as Commissioner, framed her re-election bid as a community-driven effort. Her campaign priorities focus on bridging gaps and building connections — not just in infrastructure, but also in civic trust.

On her campaign website, vote4shan.com, Rose outlines her vision grounded in equality, professionalism, and being a champion for the people of District 5. She emphasized that her campaign is as much about listening as it is about leading:

“What’s bugging you? What’s making life better? I want to hear it. My campaign is open for all opinions.”

Community Engagement at the Core

Rose is encouraging residents to join the campaign through grassroots participation:

• Spreading the word by sharing with neighbors, posting on social media, or displaying yard signs.
• Volunteering time — from knocking on doors to helping at events.
• Staying engaged by following campaign updates on Facebook, Instagram, and X, or signing up for her newsletter.
• Sharing ideas and feedback to ensure the campaign reflects the community’s priorities.

Her message underscores collaboration over politics-as-usual: “We are building bridges. Closing gaps. It’s not just a political campaign — it’s about service, accountability, and unity.”

As the race for District 5 heats up, Rose says she is determined to deliver “quality leadership that listens and leads.”

With her qualification now official, the campaign shifts into high gear — and Rose is betting on grassroots energy to drive momentum through Election Day.
